STEP 1: Initial Phone Meeting

  • Discussion about company history, market, customers, and the pivot the company was making.

  • Descriptors and attributes were established that would be translated into visual cues in the logo.

THE CHALLENGE

To create a logo that not only reflected the current growth and goals of the company, but would stand the test of time, resonate with a new target market, and allow for future expansion.

STEP 2: Research & Development
 

  • Research revealed that the largest percentage of the demographic in this industry is between the age of 45-54 however this demographic was shifting to a younger generation of camping enthusiasts due to the changes caused by the pandemic and overall economy. 

  • Concepts for the logo mark were explored which incorporated:

    • badge type logo

    • mountain roof sport logo

    • mountain trailer logo

STEP 3: The Solution

The final chosen logo reflects the company's reputable and competitive edge and was developed with the added versatility of a "mark within a mark" that could be used as a supporting asset in marketing material. The logo can withstand the test of time and grow with the company.
