The Mile 99 Interview Podcast
The Opportunity
The Mile 99 Interview Podcast is a story-filled weekly podcast celebrating dedicated athletes in the running community. Created in the Spring of 2020 their podcast was incepted to provide support for the Northern California running community during the COVID shut down when many of the race events were cancelled. They needed a logo that reflected their casual interview style and the vibrant and cohesive running community that Northern California has become known for.

The Solution
A simple but fun mountain speech bubble was developed for the brandmark. Typography was chosen to hint at athleticism but feel more approachable to the average runner. The mark aligned the target market which aren't necessarily elite athletes but rather everyday, average runners who run for the pure passion of running.
